The Windows mini\npc operating system is usually installed in the C drive of the disk drive. Once\nit runs, it will generate a lot of junk files, and the C drive space will be\nsmaller and smaller to some extent. The longer the mini pc works, the more\noften the C drive will indicate that its memory is insufficient. So what is the\nimpact of insufficient C drive capacity on our mini pc?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The space of the C\ndrive is too small, which will greatly affect the running speed of the system.\nYour mini pc will naturally become stuck and crash!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, how to\nproperly clean the C drive? Next, pour everyone three ways to quickly clean the\nC drive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Method 1: Disk\nCleanup<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By freeing up disk\nspace, you can improve your mini pc’s performance. The Disk Cleanup Tool is a\nutility tool included with Windows that helps you free up space on a disk. The\ntool first identifies files that can be safely deleted and then allows you to choose\nwhich files you want to delete partially or all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cleaning method:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Click “This Mini pc”\non the desktop of the mini pc, right click on the “C drive” and\nselect “Properties”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Click on “Disk\nCleanup” and click on “Clean System Files”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Method 2: Turn off\nhibernation (for Win10 systems)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Close method:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Right click on the icon in the\nlower left corner of the mini pc and select “Windows Power Sell A”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Enter \u201cpowercfg \u2013h off\u201d (note\nthe space) directly in the page that appears, then press \u201center\u201d on the\nkeyboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Now there is no “hiberfil.sys” file in the C drive, and immediately released 3G disk space for the C drive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Method 3: Turn on automatic cleaning (for\nWin10 system)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Opening method<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Click\n“Start”—–“Settings”—–“System”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Select \u201cStorage\u201d and set\n\u201cStorage Awareness\u201d to \u201cOn\u201d. The mini pc will automatically clean up and no\nlonger need to manually clean it every time!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
